Wishing You a Merry Christmas and Exciting Updates!
Dear Subscribers,
I wanted to take a moment to wish you all a very Happy Christmas! Thank you for being a part of my artistic journey and for your continued support. I apologise for my recent silence in newsletters, but I've been quite busy with some exciting developments.
I’m thrilled to share that I participated in the Royal Institute of Oil Painters (ROI) exhibition at the Mall Galleries, where I showcased my painting titled "Dawn Light Over the Interchange." It’s a large piece, measuring one meter squared, and it was wonderful to attend the private view. I had the pleasure of meeting the ROI president, Adebanji Alade, as well as renowned comedian Jenny Eclair. It was also great to reconnect with old friends and fellow directors from independent boarding schools.
In addition to the ROI exhibition, I am excited to announce that two of my drawings have been accepted into the Pastel Society's annual exhibition, also at the Mall Galleries, which will run from January to February 2025. Below, you can see the accepted drawings:
Isn't it interesting how time seems to fly between Christmases? This marks the second year where I haven’t maintained a full teaching timetable, and I must admit, it's challenging. While I believe in the momentum of my work, the financial rewards have yet to catch up with the effort I’m putting in. Nonetheless, I'm convinced that even the smallest steps will lead to greater things in the long run.
Lastly, I have some fascinating news! While I can’t share all the details just yet, I recently spent a day filming with Sky Arts. Keep an eye out for more information in early 2025!
Thank you so much for your support, especially as email subscribers—it truly means the world to me. Wishing you all a joyful holiday season filled with warmth and creativity.
Warm wishes,
Stuart
