Jarvis is an experienced teacher and former Director of Art working across the UK’s leading maintained and Independent schools. The overwhelming benefits formed between artist and teacher are integral to his working philosophy and have helped him define success both in his studio and the classroom. ​

Jarvis grew up in the heart of the Midlands, his home city Birmingham; Its post-war concrete skyline was so influential in his emerging years in art school. In the decades since Jarvis has sought beauty in the forgotten architectural relics often ignored across our towns and cities ​
